Partnering with VOA Architects on this challenging design-build project, Avitecture transformed The Gallup Organization’s historic building in Washington, DC into a modern-day facility. The new Great Hall gives this renowned polling organization a multi-purpose facility for training, sales, and focus testing, and features a 12-cube video wall that enhances the group’s interactive meetings.
This project illustrates the benefits and efficiencies of close collaboration between architect and AV consultant. Avitecture teamed with Wisnewski Blair Architects on this design-build project, which won a Best Design award in an annual U.S. Air Force review. The clients wanted a state-of-the-art multimedia facility for briefings and other special meetings. We carefully integrated all of the AV equipment into the architect’s design of this multimedia briefing room, for example, concealing three projectors, within the custom-made ceiling soffit.
Avitecture helped to make this Fairfax, Virginia elementary school one of the most technologically advanced facilities in the region. Our design-build capabilities were evident when we installed an interactive broadcast studio, a distance learning center, and a student-friendly creative technology hub, that was uniquely designed to allow the students to produce television shows.
