This highly interactive exhibition traces the development and ongoing influence of Jefferson’s transformational ideas about liberty – particularly those expressed in the Declaration of Independence – through a groundbreaking presentation on a wall of flat-panel LCD screens. The title comes from Jefferson, who in 1820 wrote that “the boisterous sea of liberty is never without a wave.”
