Avitecture completed three floors of extensive AV systems for this new building in Washington, DC. Interpol occupies the 12th floor and has the most complex of the systems. The primary AV space is the Command Center that features a 3 high x 9 wide Christie MicroTile high-resolution videowall. There are five 60" LCD monitors mounted on custom floor-to-ceiling pole brackets around the perimeter of this room. The system provides full digital matrix switching of 36 computer and HD video inputs to all displays as well as inter-room connectivity. A conference area within the Command Center has a Smart interactive overlay used with one of the 60" monitors to allow annotation and interaction with the data. AMX touchscreens and keypads provide extensive control of the AV system.
There are two videoconferencing/meeting rooms on the 12th floor. These feature dual 60" monitors with extensive digital/analog computer and video routing. These rooms can both send and receive video/audio signals from the Command Center. An AMX touchscreen provides control for each room.
A Training Room with a complete simultaneous translation audio system is equipped for both elaborate executive meetings as well as training. Infrared delegate microphone stations provide secure voice reinforcement for all participants as well as up to four language translation channels. There is a dual screen projection system using HD high-brightness projectors. The training room has three Sony HD cameras to record trainings and meetings. An AMX touchscreen provides control for this room.
